Bowen Bridge Part 1 is the first of three modules of training. The Bowen Bridge is a groundbreaking concept, and a liberating step for practitioners familiar with standard Bowen sequences. As a student, you will learn to break down both previous and newly introduced procedures into easily understandable principles. Through coaching and hands-on practice, you will fine-tune your palpatory skills. You learn to seamlessly assess and re-assess progress while working. All of this serves to streamline and individualize your therapeutic sessions.
Clients present individual varieties and combinations of structural distortion that are too numerous to catalogue. Assessment skills are not enough. You need reliable feedback on the run: Did that move go where it was supposed to? Did it do what it needed to do? If not, what new choices now present themselves? This interactive mode, is what the Bowen Bridge offers.
You will learn to:
• Identify deep (and very old) whole-body fascial restrictions and release them with one move.
• Identify asymmetries in spinal and pelvic muscles and correct using Bowen moves — without touching the groin.
• Do quick and easy Bowen releases for elbows, wrists and ankles that have been resistant to previous work.
• Palpate and stimulate neuro-lymphatic points along the sternum and spinal column with Bowen moves, releasing posture and alignment as you go.
• Do quick deltoid, Iliotibial band, and hamstring release techniques.
• Do a Bowen pubic bone procedure.
• Do a Bowen release for Thoracic Outlet Syndrome.
• Simplify positional release techniques with Bowen plunks and light taps.
• Release the coccyx and sphenoid at the same time.
