Basic
Body Bowen is an introduction to the Bowen protocols and does not require the
participant to be enrolled in the certificate or diploma programs. There is no need
for prior knowledge in Anatomy or Physiology. This course is more in-depth than
Basic Bowen Workshop #001. It is
designed for you to see whether this technique would benefit you on a personal
level as a patient, or be of support to family members, or a technique to add
to your practice as a health practitioner, or a stand-alone profession as a
Bowen Health Therapist or Practitioner.
This
course is the first day of courses 101 and 102. It is possible to
continue with the Basic Bowen Course in the subsequent 3 days of instruction
(please refer to 101 & 102 courses) and if space is available. Participants
having an interest in this arrangement must notify register@bowencollege.com in
advance of their intention.
In Basic Body Bowen, the student will learn about a powerful
protocol called the Autonomic Body Balancing System. This system assists in
integrating and balancing the body as well as addressing a broad range of
structural symptoms including back pain, neck pain, shoulder pain, hip and knee
pain, plus much more. The Autonomic Body Balancing System also facilitates
stress relief and relaxation. This protocol serves as the foundation for other
non-Bowen modalities or it can stand alone as one of the most powerful
techniques to allow the body to switch into Parasympathetic mode and begin its
journey of healing.
The
Autonomic Body Balancing System comprises of three protocols:
