207-1 – NST Insights into Bowen Part 1 (open to all)

207-1 – NST Insights into Bowen Part 1 (open to all)

‘NST Insights into Bowen’ is a two-day Introductory Workshop to introduce both novices and practitioners to the philosophy and practice of Neurostructural Integration Technique (NST).

This dynamic technique is designed to reorganize the fascia and muscle of the whole body, whereby the client’s pain is consistently decreased while mobility is increased.

It is remarkably easy to learn – even for novices. For 80% of clients it gives major pain and stress relief within 2-4 treatments. And for practitioners it provides excellent clinical results with far less effort than many other therapies.

NST is an interpretation of the later practice and principles of Tom Bowen: other Bowen therapies are based on his earlier work. The effectiveness of this interpretation has been shown by extensive statistical analysis to provide high success rates in treatment. Elements of Kinesiology and Craniosacral therapy also feature in this advanced method.

“This is simply the best manual therapy I have seen and it has changed my whole practice and understanding of the body, and my role as a healing facilitator.”

Participants will learn a powerful integrated Dynamic Body Balance covering lower back, upper back, diaphragm release, neck and also the TMJ. This sequence is designed to address a broad range of structural symptoms including back pain, neck pain, shoulder pain, knee pain and more. The body balance also facilitates stress relief and relaxation. By making the corrections covered in the workshop, changes can sometimes be seen throughout the whole of the body – this will be explained and experienced.

Basic information on healthy lifestyle and its effect on structure will also be covered.

PLEASE NOTE: this course is mainly designed for students who either have no background in bodywork, have a background in bodywork and would like to learn about Bowen therapy and NST, or have a Bowen background but aren’t sure if they want to take the more intensive NST course.

Those Bowen practitioners who take this course and then decide to do the rest of the NST training are eligible for a $77.00 discount when they sign up for the 207 NST course.
