401 – Massage with a Touch of BowenFirst™
Now for why people would want to take the course…
I think there is such a curiosity as to what Bowen is and what it can do for people… this course gives a taste to satisfy that curiosity. This is an intro as to what Bowen can do for people and to enhance the benefits of each massage. The Bowen moves that will be taught are more effective when done in isolation, but work wonders to integrate into a massage for an overall more relaxing effective massage, both in relaxation and therapeutic work. It will add another dimension to incorporate into every session. This course will open you up to a whole new therapy, and the opportunity to experience even more results for your clients. The Bowen technique is gentle on the practitioners body, allowing for a more sustainable career in body work.
The simple, non evasive technique not only adds to the work you are doing already, but multiplies it exponentially.
Meet Your Instructor:
Chelsea Becker has been a body work therapist for the past six years; her experience is in Bowen Therapy, CranioSacral Therapy, Massage Therapy and Reiki. Bowen has been the number one means of bringing relief to her clients; it’s fast and it lasts.
She spent twelve years in the Canadian Armed Forces in the Navy and was able to use Bowen as a means to quickly resolve aches and pains of fellow sailors. Bowen has also benefited her years of wilderness training, as many back-country participants have been assisted in getting up mountains, crossing finish lines in various triathlons, and off-road races. After leaving full time military, Chelsea now has her own practice in Edmonton, Alberta. With her experience using various modalities she has developed a Bowen/Massage course that teaches massage therapists how to use Bowen moves to enhance the effects of their current massage style, both for relaxation and therapeutic.
