Fascia Bowen Module 1 is a dynamic workshop that will introduce health practitioners to a technique developed by Howard Plummer in Cardiff, Wales. Fascia Bowen is designed to be a gentle and effective for the care of children with special needs. Designed to help children with sleep issues, behavioral concerns, attention difficulties and forms of self stimulation. Fascia Bowen will also show how to treat children with Cerebral Palsy, developmental milestones, Down’s Syndrome and Dyspraxia, ADD, ADHD, and learning disabilities. 

The synthesis of embryology, the nervous system, and the skin will be evaluated. This course teaches five initial maneuvers, three maneuvers for the head and neck, two for the upper back and one for the lower extremities. Students will demonstrate specific protocol for Spinal Rocking maneuver, atlas stimulator maneuver, upper back maneuver and lower extremities with one-on-one demonstration from the instructor. The attendees will assess how to blend the maneuvers with Bowen Technique through instructor demonstration.

Upon successful completion, attendees will design a treatment plan for the care of a special needs child.


This intensive weekend workshop will be instructed with hands-on demonstration. This will include one-on-one guidance and practice on attendees utilizing massage tables. Please wear loose and comfortable clothing and be sure to wear cover under garments as this technique is taught with full skin contact. 

Students must have completed at least 3 modules of Bowen and Fascia training, including experience in Anatomy & Physiology, Functional Anatomy and Palpation.
