Specialized Certification Workshops –

Cranial Structural Energetic Therapies

“The contribution Don McCann has given to the world can’t be easily measured. This man is one of my greatest role models. His work and trainings have been one of the most life-course altering influences in my life and career. Taking on suffering, pain and illness pragmatically is both rare and difficult, but Don has made a solid contribution to that effort. The hard work he has put in for decades gives the opportunity for a seed to grow for future generations. Without this work I can easily say that the depth of contentment and fulfillment in my work would not be what it is today. Thank you, Don.”
-Jonathan Fuentes, SET Therapist
“No words can express the feeling of helping someone recover from a concussion. Another client who needed only 3 sessions to fully recover. She’s a student athlete who is able to go back to school, doesn’t have to wear sunglasses everywhere, isn’t tired, isn’t dealing with chronic headaches that are a 7 out of 10, and she is resuming her active lifestyle again. A big THANK YOU goes out to Don McCann and the educational team at Structural Energetic Therapy!

Cranial Structural Core Distortion Releases Quick Release Technique and CranialStructural FrontalOcciCranial/Structural Core Distortion Releases, Quick Release Technique, and Cranial/Structural Frontal/Occipital Decompression

  • Cranial/Structural releases can be the single most important therapeutic technique for pain relief!
  • 90% of client pain – neck, low back, headaches, carpal tunnel, knee, foot or hip – can be directly related to the cranial/structural core distortion pattern (also known as the spiral distortion).
  • Develop the awareness and the tools to release these cranial/structural patterns, which will release the pelvic imbalances and related structural compensations of the core distortion pattern.
  • This structural core distortion normally does not return once it is released!
  • These techniques can be integrated into any soft tissue treatment, and they will initiate dramatic structural changes from the beginning of the first session.
  • Clients usually report relief almost immediately!
  • Client confidence in you as a therapist will be quickly established!

You will learn: Cranial anatomy, cranial rhythms, core distortion patterns, structural evaluation, body reading, cranial/structural relationships, soft tissue cranial releases, muscle testing, and kinesiology, corrections of structural distortions.

As a participant, you will experience the benefits of this incredible cranial/structural release!  You will also leave with the understanding, confidence, and ability to treat all your clients with these techniques!

QUICK RELEASE TECHNIQUE

The soft tissue myofascial Quick Release is an amazing technique for relieving headaches, neck & shoulder pain, reducing tension and stress, and preparing clients for deeper work.  It successfully treats clients with osteoporosis and initiates the normalization of cervical spine curvatures.  Therapists will learn a soft tissue myofascial specific sequence for trigger/acupressure point releases and a modified atlas/occipital/dura/sacral soft tissue myofascial mobilization that can be applied in 15 minutes, or extended to a session.  A great practice builder that can be applied in any setting, and a tool that proves that massage therapy can have therapeutic results in as little as 15 minutes.

CRANIAL/STRUCTURAL FRONTAL/OCCIPITAL DECOMPRESSION

With concussion or mild traumatic brain injury, the cranial rhythm and supporting membranes in both the cranium and brain suffer damage and are often left restricted and imbalanced by soft tissue and fascial restrictions. Recent research shows that the glymphatic system and lymphatic system are also restricted by the soft tissue myofascial restrictions that need to be released and highly functioning to allow recovery.  This workshop will teach contraindications, evaluation, and hands on soft tissue myofascial manipulation of the cranium restrictions to restore full range of motion and balance back to the cranium.  It will also teach special Cranial/Structural soft tissue myofascial techniques for maximizing and restoring function and pumping the glymphatic and lymphatic systems of the brain.  Applying this combination of soft tissue myofascial therapies to clients who have either had a concussion or mild traumatic brain injury has dramatically sped up their recovery and reduced symptoms.

Cranial Structural Therapy for Effective Treatment for HeadachesCranial/Structural Therapy for Effective Treatment for Headaches

The vast majority of headaches involve the motions and bones of the cranium.  In this certification course, you will first learn and then apply comprehensive assessment techniques of cranial causes for headaches.  Then you will learn to apply specific Cranial/Structural soft tissue myofascial mobilizations for specific cranial causes of headaches.  These will include the most common and severe headaches of the C1 /occiput/brainstem compression often confused with migraines. Next addressed will be soft tissue myofascial suture releases for nerve compression headaches and vertigo including compression of the trigeminal nerve.  Other one-sided headaches related to vision, ocular migraines, and eye stress will also be addressed. We will conclude with congestion headaches including hydrocephalus, congestion migraines, toxic brain inflammation, and concussions.  No previous cranial courses are necessary to be able to effectively apply these Cranial/Structural techniques.  Be confident and ahead of the curve with this 16-hour certification for effectively treating even the most difficult headaches.

Cranial Structural Therapy for Rehabilitation from Concussions and Mild Traumatic Brain InjuryCranial/Structural Therapy for Rehabilitation from Concussions and Mild Traumatic Brain Injury

With concussion or mild traumatic brain injury, the cranial rhythm and supporting membranes in both the cranium and brain suffer damage and are often left restricted and imbalanced. These imbalances remain until soft tissue myofascial restrictions are released and balance is restored.  Recent research shows that the glymphatic system and lymphatic system need to be highly functioning to allow recovery. The release of soft tissue myofascial restrictions will bring these back into full balance and range of motions allowing them to function at a high level promoting recovery from the damage of a concussion.  This workshop will teach contraindications, evaluation, and hands-on manipulation of the soft tissue restrictions of the cranium to restore full range of motion and balance back to the cranium.
