Bowen College is committed to providing excellence in Bowen Therapy training. Our curriculum is specifically designed for the working adult combining both online studies with a practical hands-on component. Whether you are looking for full certification or a taste of Bowen to add to your existing practice we have training options to satisfy your curiosity.
At Bowen College we want you to walk away from our training feeling confident and ready to take Bowen Therapy into the world. Certified Bowen Health Therapist (CBHT) Program
Our designation for training in the complete program is the Certified Bowen Health Therapist (CBHT) program. This program is recognized by the Canadian Examining Board of Health Care Practitioners (CEBHCP) and the Bowen Therapy Professional Association (BTPA). As Bowen Therapy becomes more widely known in the world other organizations such as Natural Health Practitioners of Canada (NHPC) and International Institute of Complementary Therapies (IICT) have aligned their standards of recognition for Bowen Therapy with Bowen College for our comprehensive training program.

Our Healing Accelerator Workshop is a 4-day Workshop for professionals in the health care field. If you have previously trained in a hands-on modality and are currently working as a practitioner this 4-day Healing Accelerator Workshop is for you! Learn the basics in Bowen Therapy to complement your already existing practice. The tools you learn can be incorporated right away or you can come back to apply what you have invested and learned into the certification program. CEUs are credited to various boards. Level 100 Basic Body Protocols
If all you need is a CEU credit or are curious about Bowen Therapy you are invited to a 1-day Level 100 Basic Body Protocols where 7CEUs are accepted by most boards and you will be able to receive and train in the basic foundations of Bowen Therapy. If you love it, as most find out, you are welcome to apply what you have invested and learned to the entire program.

This program is designed for the public and those interested in their own journey of healing. Explore different aspects of your emotions and thoughts and how this pertains to your health. Primary Care First Aid
Standard First Aid with CPR/AED Level C is a two-day program developed by the Canadian Red Cross and is necessary for all Certified Bowen Health Therapists (CBHT) to qualify and retain their license in Canada. Certification is good for up to 3 years. If you are in need of re-certification the 1-day attendance is also available.
With Primary Care First Aid, you’ll be getting first aid instruction from experienced fire firefighter personnel with real-life experience. Instructors pass on what it’s actually like applying first aid in emergency situations. This makes for an extremely high success rate inside and outside the classroom. Our fun and engaging classes make learning first aid easy, and we give students the confidence to step in and help someone when it matters most.

Online Courses
We offer the core prerequisites online when you register for the certification program. If you are interested in our training courses for your own self-development or for other avenues of interest we have been approved by various pilates, yoga, and other companies for our comprehensive courses in Anatomy & Physiology, Functional Muscle Anatomy, Nutrition & Bowen and Meridian Connections. Always check with your program to see if the following are accepted for credit. *Note core prerequisites sold separately from the CBHT program cannot be credited for their full amount to the program cost. Additional fees apply.

At Bowen College, we offer advanced training in various complementary modalities to enhance your understanding of Bowen Therapy and offer advantages to your patient/client needs. This 2019/2020 year we will be offering Certification courses by Don McCann for his work in Structural Energetic Healing. Offered for the first time in Canada and approved for CEUs with CEBHCP & NCBTMB these courses will enhance learning outcomes for Bowen Therapy bodywork and offer Certification in each.
